Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selakovic paid a visit today to the Serbian educational institution Nikola Tesla in Budapest where he handed over to its staff three passenger vans, to be used for student transport, and books for their library.
The vans are donated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the books are a personal donation of Minister Selakovic. Minister met with Director of the school Jovanka Lastic and was given a tour of the kindergarten within the school complex, gym and the library. Minister Selakovic wrote the following in the visitors' book: "One can only feel true pleasure and pride meeting with people who through their vision and energy move borders and change the world. Here in "Nikola Tesla" school centre in Budapest, this feeling is even stronger because the wonderful people here use one such energy to preserve the Serbian identity by enlightening new generations of young Serbs and furnishing them with knowledge, national tradition and culture". Educational institution "Nikola Tesla" is the most important Serbian institution of its kind in Hungary. It includes a kindergarten, elementary and high school, and is currently attended by around 700 students. Source: Tanjug |
