"We do not need to be reminded of our activities in the protection of national and state interests", Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic said today in connection with the remark of "Dveri" that it is necessary to request a Security Council session on Kosovo and Metohija, because it has already been scheduled.

In his statement transmitted to Tanjug the Minister emphasized that the session on the situation in Kosovo and Metohija and on the Secretary-General's report has been set for 21 October on the basis of Serbia's agreement with Russia which holds the SC Presidency in October.

He indicated that the information on the session was published nine days ago in the UNSC calendar for October.

According to him, Serbia is in constant communication with UNSC members regarding the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, especially with the permanent members who understand and support Serbia's positions, in particular with Russia and China.

"We do not need to be reminded of our activities in the protection of the national and state interests", Dacic said.
