State Secretary Nemanja Stevanovic signed a book of condolence following the passing of the Emir of Kuwait

Following the recent passing of His Highness the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nemanja Stevanovic signed on behalf of the Republic of Serbia and the Foreign Ministry a condolence book opened at the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Belgrade.

In a condolence message addressed to the new Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to the Government, members of Al-Sabah family and the friendly people of the State of Kuwait, the State Secretary also stated that the Republic of Serbia will remember the late Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as a wise, respected and experienced leader and a successful conflict mediator who spread the glory of Kuwait across the planet, but also as a globally recognized humanitarian champion, whose country was acknowledged as an international humanitarian center by the United Nations, and that Serbia stands by the friendly Kuwaiti state at this difficult time.
