State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nemanja Stevanovic addressed the participants of the 45th Golden Badge award ceremony of the Cultural and Educational Community of Serbia, which took place at the National Theatre, on 1 October 2020.

The Golden Badge award is given by the Cultural and Educational Association of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the region, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia for the contribution to the development, organization, launching and realization of cultural activities, dissemination of culture of peoples and national minorities living in the Republic of Serbia and our people from the diaspora and the region.

Charter, gilded badge and book published by the Cultural and Educational Community of Serbia are awarded for selfless, dedicated and long-standing engagement with the cultural organizations and activities, creative contribution to the overall cultural achievements in Serbia and in all areas where the Serbian population lives, as well as for cultural affirmation of peoples and national minorities. This year, in addition to the laureates from Serbia, the award was delivered to the prominent individuals and organizations from Canada, the USA, France, Germany, Montenegro and Republika Srpska.
