Minister Dacic: Serbia's gratitude for the firm and principled support of Brazil concerning the non-recognition of the unilateral declaration of independence of the so-called "Kosovo"

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic talked on the phone with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil Ernesto Araújo.

Minister Dacic expressed solidarity with the friendly people and Government of Brazil following the difficult situation related to the Covid-19 pandemic and the spike in the number of infections, as well as his condolences over the toll on human life taken, hoping that the situation would soon be successfully resolved.

Minister Dacic underscored that Brazil was one of our country's key political and economic partners in Latin America, emphasizing Serbia's commitment to the further promotion of all-round relations, intensification of political dialogue and the strengthening of economic cooperation.

Both sides expressed an expectation that our two countries would soon be able to continue working together and further enhance the cooperation.

Minister Dacic expressed his gratitude for the firm and principled support of Brazil concerning the non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called "Kosovo" and recalled the open invitation to Minister Araújo for a visit to Serbia, conveying an expectation that the visit would be realized as soon as the relevant conditions were met.
