First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic delivered a message of congratulations to Archbishop of Belgrade Stanislav Hocevar, clergy and all citizens celebrating Easter according to the Gregorian Calendar, with wishes for peace and well-being and overcoming the hardships which have befallen the world.

"I would like to extend cordial Easter greetings, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and on my own behalf, to members of all denominations celebrating Easter according to the Gregorian calendar, wishing that this holiday of hope and faith in a better future encourage us to persevere and overcome all the difficulties we have been facing.

This is an opportunity to return to the core values in our lives and show mutual understanding, respect and unity, in a spirit of solidarity, enabling us to face all the challenges together in the times ahead.

For it is only if empowered by faith and hope in a better tomorrow that we can find refuge in peace, as the day of Christ's resurrection is a feast of hope and salvation, reminding us all of the true values we should aspire to."
