Kenya will not change its stance on Kosovo and Metohija

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya Ababu Namwamba.

In the friendly talks, it was jointly stated that it was necessary to improve cooperation between our two countries in all areas of mutual interest.

Minister Dacic emphasized that the Republic of Serbia had been paying great attention to cooperation with African countries since the emergence of the Non-Aligned Movement and that it intended to further enhance cooperation with all countries on the African continent.

Minister Dacic reiterated that our country appreciated the principled support of the Republic of Kenya to preserving the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia with full respect for the fundamental principles of international law. In this regard, Secretary of State Ababu Namwamba stressed that Kenya would not change its position on Kosovo and Metohija and that it condemned any violation of international law.
