Minister Dacic attends the opening ceremony of Doha Forum

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic attended the opening ceremony of the Doha Forum in Qatar.

The theme of the 19th annual Forum is "Global Governance in the Multipolar World".

The opening ceremony was attended by a large number of world leaders, including the President of Rwanda, the President of Armenia, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, the Prime Minister of Somalia, the U.S. Commerce Secretary, the Foreign Ministers of Slovakia, Turkey and others.

The Head of Serbian diplomacy also met with a large number of his colleagues with whom he exchanged views on current international issues. The importance of holding regular meetings and strengthening dialogue among world leaders in forums like this, was highlighted in the talks.

Minister Dacic also had the opportunity to speak again with Ivanka Trump, an Adviser to the President of the United States, whom he met in September this year in New York.

The Doha Forum is being sponsored by the Qatar Emir. Minister Dacic attended the Forum at an invitation extended by the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers of the State of Qatar and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
