Minister Dacic and Deputy Prime Minister Borisov discuss the upcoming session of the Intergovernmental Committee on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yury Borisov in Moscow today.

Today's meeting of co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Committee on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Russian Federation, was convened with the aim of making preparations for the upcoming session of the Intergovernmental Committee, to be held in Kazan, at the beginning of March 2020.

The two collocutors discussed a wide range of topics which the Intergovernmental Committee on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation covers, such as cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy, particularly gas supply, agriculture, industrial production, construction of railway infrastructure, science and technology, innovation and others.

The talks also revolved around issues related to bilateral relations. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the growth of economic cooperation and the achievement in last year's trade volume.
