First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic sent his greetings to Belgrade Archbishop Stanislav Hocevar and believers who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar.

"On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and my own behalf, I send my greetings on this most joyful Christian holiday with wishes to celebrate it in peace, welfare, joy, love and unity with your dearest and beloved ones.

Christmas, the great Christian holiday, gives us an opportunity to send a message of peace and remind ourselves once again of mutual respect and understanding, of all the lasting values which unite and connect us.

May faith in God remind us of the lasting values of togetherness and foster mutual understanding, love and respect so that we can courageously face any challenge that lies ahead and persevere in preserving peace and building a better and safer future for all of us", reads the greeting message from Minister Dacic.
