Ministers Dacic confers with Minister Cerar

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had a bilateral meeting with Slovenian Foreign Minister Miro Cerar, held in Novi Sad, on the margins of the 5th Joint Session of the Governments of the Republic of Serbia and of the Republic of Slovenia.

In the talks, the collocutors expressed their satisfaction with the current situation in the bilateral relations and conviction that they would continue to develop to the mutual benefit.

Minister Dacic expressed gratitude for the support extended by the Republic of Slovenia to the Republic of Serbia and its European integration process. Furthermore, he stressed that the Serbian side expected the resolution of remaining issues related to the succession of the former SFRY property to continue on an accelerated pace, while also discussing concrete activities concerning the distribution of diplomatic and consular property (as stipulated in Annex B).

In the meeting, the officials expressed pleasure over the constant rising trend recorded in the economic cooperation, and explored prospects for a joint activity of companies of the two countries in third markets and Africa in particular.
