Today, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic has received a courtesy call from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Serbia Shehryar Akbar Khan.

Foreign Minister Dacic welcomed Ambassador Khan expressing his expectations that we would manage to further enhance overall bilateral relations between Serbia and Pakistan, through concerted efforts, during the Ambassador's tenure in the Republic of Serbia.

The willingness to further strengthen dialogue and exchange of visits on all levels was reaffirmed in the talks. Emphasis was placed on a common interest to reinforce economic, defense, cultural and other forms of cooperation.

The Serbian Foreign Minister wished Ambassador Khan a lot of success in his professional and personal life with a remark that he could always count on the assistance and support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
