Minister Dacic spoke with the newly appointed Norwegian Ambassador to Serbia

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic received a courtesy call today from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Serbia Jorn Eugene Gjelstad.

Minister Dacic wished a welcome and successful tenure to the Norwegian Ambassador. He thanked Norway, although not a member of the European Union, for providing constant support to the process of EU accession of the Republic of Serbia as well as to the process of reforms being implemented in our country.

In a cordial conversation, it was stated that the relations between the two countries were good and had a historical tradition, but that there were also numerous opportunities to further intensify all forms of cooperation, in the mutual interest, especially in the economic field.

The two collocutors also exchanged views on Serbia's European integration, the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, the situation in the region and multilateral cooperation.
