Serbian Foreign Minister Dacic and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grushko visit the Museum of Yugoslavia and House of Flowers

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko have visited the Museum of Yugoslavia and House of Flowers today.

Accompanied by RF Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko, Serbian Foreign Minister Dacic and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grushko have first visited the collections of the former Museum of Revolution of Yugoslav Peoples and Ethnic Minorities of exhibits in connection with the history of the labor movement and Communist party in SFRY.

They have seen the collection of the 'Josip Broz Tito' Memorial Center where the gifts which Josip Broz Tito received from his compatriots and world leaders constitute the most interesting part of the exhibition.

Ttio's personal belongings, among which is the highest Soviet award - the Medal of Freedom which he received from Stalin in 1944 for his achievements in the Second World War, drew the attention of Foreign Minister Dacic and Deputy Foreign Minister Grushko.

The two officials also had the opportunity to see the exhibits from the period of SFRY's creation and the Serbian Foreign Minister, standing next to the Coat of Arms of SFRY, explained the events which occurred on 29 November 1943 in Jajce and the reason for designating the date of the Second Conference of the Anti-Fascist National Liberation Council of Yugoslavia as Republic Day.

Foreign Minister Dacic and Deputy Foreign Minister Grushko then visited the House of Flowers, the resting place of Josip Broz Tito and his wife Jovanka Broz.

Deputy Foreign Minister Grushko ended the visit to the Memorial Center by signing the Book of Remembrance.
