First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic has received Ambassador of the Italian Republic Carlo Lo Cascio today.

Both sides noted that bilateral relations were amicable and highly developed and that there was strong interest in their further advancement, as reflected in significant bilateral meetings as well as the visit to be made by Italian Minister for European Affairs Vincenzo Amendola to the Republic of Serbia next month.
Minister Dacic extended his gratitude for Italy's continued and unequivocal support of the Republic of Serbia and the Western Balkans region in the European integration process and conveyed readiness to further cooperation in this regard.

The interlocutors have also exchanged their views on the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina as well as on the current situation in the region.
