Minister Dacic received a farewell call from the Ambassador of Iraq

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today on his farewell visit the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to the Republic of Serbia, Fakhri Hassan Mahdi Al-Issa, whose one-year term in the Republic of Serbia has come to an end due to his retirement.

The talks noted that the bilateral relations between the two countries were very developed and that it was necessary to strengthen them through high and to-level meetings.
Minister Dacic emphasized that the Republic of Serbia was grateful for Iraq's principled support to the preservation of Serbia's territorial integrity. He regretted the current situation in Iraq and hoped that the peace and stability of Iraq would be preserved.

The Iraqi Ambassador thanked for the support he received, emphasizing that he would continue to contribute to strengthening ties between Serbia and Iraq. He expressed the belief that the initiatives and activities initiated during his term of office would contribute to the further development of the overall cooperation between the two friendly countries.
