First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic gave lecture to the students of the American University's Brussels Center who visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia with their Professor Jerome Sheridan.

In his address to the students, the Serbian Foreign Minister presented Serbian foreign policy priorities emphasizing the preservation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country with Kosovo and Metohija as its integral part, full EU membership, maintenance of regional peace and security, good-neighborly relations, military neutrality and development of bilateral cooperation with all countries of the world. The Foreign Minister pointed to the long-standing bilateral relations between Serbia and the United States, including rich cooperation between the two countries in the field of economy. In his lecture, Minister Dacic also referred to large Serbian diaspora in the United States and its importance, contribution and role in the social development of that country.

Following his statement to U.S. students, Ambassadors Branimir Filipovic and Dejan Ralevic, Acting Assistant Ministers for Security Policy and European Union respectively, also addressed the students.
Ambassador Filipovic spoke about Serbia's foreign policy priorities from the point of view of security policy at bilateral and multilateral levels. Ambassador Ralevic spoke about Serbia's EU membership as one of the key foreign policy objectives of the Republic of Serbia.
