State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nemanja Stevanovic met today with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus, George Georgiou, a member of the Cypriot delegation visiting Belgrade, as part of the official visit of the Cyprus Defence Minister to the Republic of Serbia.

Satisfaction was expressed by both sides over the very high level of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries and people, bound by a traditional, historically confirmed friendship.

Strong and principled mutual support for the preservation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the two states was reiterated and there was a strong interest in further enhancing cooperation in all areas of common interest.
