More intensive cooperation with Estonia in the field of information technologies

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic was paid a courtesy call by the newly-appointed Ambassador of Estonia on a non-resident basis from Budapest, Kristi Karelsohn.

In a cordial conversation, it was noted that the relations between the two countries were good and that there was an interest of both sides in deepening them.

Opinions were also exchanged on bilateral relations, Serbia's European integration process, issue of Kosovo and Metohija and on multilateral cooperation.

Minister Dacic thanked for the continued support of Estonia in the process of Serbia's accession to the European Union, as well as the support in the reform process of the Republic of Serbia.

During the talks, it was stated that there were numerous possibilities for further intensification of all forms of cooperation in mutual interest, especially in the field of economy and information technologies. In this regard, Ambassador Karelsohn emphasized that there was an interest of Estonian companies to do business in the IT sector in Serbia.
