Importance of exchanging Serbia-Malta high- and top-level meetings

In the margins of the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met with Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Promotion of the Republic of Malta Carmelo Abela.

The Ministers signed an Agreement on cooperation between the two countries' MFA Diplomatic Academies.

In the talks after the signing, the Ministers agreed that the Agreement concluded would further encourage cooperation between the two Foreign Ministries and, consequently, the two countries.

In a friendly meeting, Minister Dacic emphasized the role played by and contribution the Serbian nationals temporarily staying and working in Malta made to the Maltese society end economy.

The Foreign Minister of Malta underscored the importance of intensifying an exchange of high- and top-level visits aiming for best possible mutual understanding and the promotion of bilateral cooperation in all areas of common interest.
