First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met with Foreign Minister of the Dominican Republic Miguel Vargas Maldonado, on the fringes of the 74th United Nations General Assembly session.

The two collocutors assessed that the bilateral relations between the two countries were good and that there was ample room for improving cooperation in a number of areas. The Ministers stated that it was necessary to intensify mutual political dialogue.

Foreign Minister Vargas Maldonado accepted the invitation by the Serbian Foreign Minister to visit Serbia in the coming period.
