Minister Dacic and Ambassador of Bangladesh underlined readiness to strengthen overall bilateral relations

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with Mr. Abdus Sobhan Sikder , non-resident Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to the Republic of Serbia, seated in Rome, who is on a working visit to Serbia.

The collocutors took stock of the bilateral relations that both sides assessed as traditionally good and friendly, while also discussing the opportunities for their promotion.

Minister Dacic underscored an interest to intensify the political dialogue and exchange visits between the two countries, and also to further strengthen the overall bilateral relations based on the two people's historical friendship.

Sharing the assessment of the Serbian Foreign Minister, Ambassador Sikder expressed full readiness of Bangladesh to further strengthen the cooperation, particularly in the economy. In this context, he informed of the Seminar on business and investment opportunities in Serbia as well as in Bangladesh being held today in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia as an initial step towards the above-mentioned goal.
