Minister Dacic in meetings with Ambassadors of the Republic of Serbia

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with Ambassadors of the Republic of Serbia.

The Serbian Foreign Minister spoke with Ambassador of Serbia to the Kingdom of Denmark Jasmina Mitrovic Maric, Ambassador to Lebanon Elmir Elfic, Ambassador to Kenya Dragan Zupanjevac, Ambassador to Belarus Veljko Kovacevic and Serbian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Stanimir Vukicevic.

In separate meetings with each Serbian Ambassador, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic briefed our Ambassadors on the situation in Kosovo and Metohija as well as on the unilateral acts made by Pristina which resulted in the abrogation of the dialogue and talks, while blocking the Brussels process and possibility for reaching a compromise solution. Furthermore, the Head of Serbian Diplomacy stressed the importance of the visit paid by President Vucic to the United States of America and the meetings the President had in New York. Minister Dacic reiterated Serbia's foreign policy priorities and instructed the Ambassadors to enhance their activities in line with Serbia's national interests.

Ambassadors elaborated Minister Dacic on the situation in the countries they were accredited to representing Serbia, with special emphasis on Serbia's bilateral relations with those countries, as well as on the enhanced activities aimed at strengthening the Republic of Serbia's position on a multilateral level, especially in the upcoming period in which Pristina would apply for membership in numerous international organizations.
