Minister Dacic receives a farewell call from Ambassador of France

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call from Ambassador of France Frédéric Mondoloni.

Minister Dacic thanked Ambassador Mondoloni for his engagement through which he had contributed to a great extent to the advancement of the overall bilateral relations between the two countries, and wished him success in his professional and personal life. He voiced his pleasure at the continued promotion of cooperation between Serbia and France and expressed his hopes that this trend would continue in the future.

The collocutors said they were satisfied with the successful realization of the recent visit to Serbia by French President Emmanuel Macron, which took place in a friendly and cordial atmosphere with a high level of understanding demonstrated with regard to the most important topics of mutual concern. Special importance in the talk was attached to the significant number of agreements in different areas signed during the visit, the implementation of which would be given due attention in the period to come.

Ambassador Mondoloni noted that the visit by President Macron had been of historic significance, as it laid solid foundations for the additional intensification of cooperation in the period to come, France demonstrating keen interest and readiness in this context. He expressed his particular gratitude for the excellent cooperation he had had with the institutions of the Republic of Serbia, not only in the context of the preparations for the Presidential visit, but also throughout his term.
