First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a courtesy call from Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade Aleksandr Botsan-Kharchenko , following his assumption of duties.

Minister Dacic welcomed the new Ambassador wishing him a successful diplomatic tenure in Belgrade, noting that he was pleased that such an expert on our region would be representative of the Russian Federation to Serbia.

They discussed topics of high importance, such as economic relations, the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, cooperation in international organizations, and other areas of mutual interest.
In the cordial talks, they reaffirmed the common interest for an all-round promotion of bilateral relations between the two countries that were already very good and advanced, and characterized by a dynamic development.
