Minister Dacic in talks with Ambassadors of Argentina, Brazil and Canada

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with Ambassador of Argentina to the Republic of Serbia Estanislao Angel Zawels, Ambassador of Brazil Eduardo Botelho Barbosa and Ambassador of Canada Kati Csaba who, in the framework of the Lima Group, informed him of the mutual position and active approach of their countries with regard to the crisis in Venezuela.
Minister Dacic said that the Republic of Serbia pursued a principled policy based on the respect for international law, non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states and peaceful settlement of disputes.

He underlined that Serbia understood the difficult situation facing Venezuela and, consequently, the countries in its vicinity.

In this context, Minister Dacic welcomed dialogue as a way of reaching a lasting solution to the crisis in the country.

In a constructive and friendly discussion, the interlocutors expressed their mutual readiness to continue the existing communication and exchange of views.
