Excellent political relations between Serbia and Bolivia to be complemented with economic cooperation

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic had talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia Diego Pary Rodriguez, on the fringes of the 49th Session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States held in Colombia.

In the very cordial and friendly talks, the two Ministers rated the bilateral relations between the two countries as the highest.

Minister Dacic thanked for the strong support of Bolivia to the principles of international law and territorial integrity of Serbia.

The two Ministers jointly assessed that the current international stage was burdened with double standards of which both countries were or are victims.

The Foreign Minister of Bolivia thanked for the high visibility of the Republic of Serbia at the General Assembly of the Organization of American States and assessed that this was of great importance and constituted a strong message to the OAS member states.

The two collocutors concluded that there was huge potential for the development of bilateral cooperation and that excellent political ties should be complemented with an excellent economic co-operation.

The Ministers of Serbia and Bolivia exchanged views on political developments both in Latin America and in Europe. They emphasized the importance of multilateral cooperation and dialogue between the two states in order to prevent unilateral decisions.
The two Ministers also agreed to exchange high-level visits in the coming period.
