Bilateral relations between Serbia and Armenia are exceptionally good, with room for their further improvement

On the margins of the Informal Ministerial Meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) held in the High Tatras (Slovakia), First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zorhab Mnatsakanyani.

During friendly and cordial talks, the bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and Armenia were assessed as exceptionally good, with room for their further improvement based on the closeness of the two nations.

Minister Dacic invited the Foreign Minister of Armenia to visit Serbia and pointed out the possibility of realizing his visit to Armenia on the occasion of which the Serbian Embassy in Yerevan would be opened.

Ministers confirmed the interest of the two countries to raise the issue of visa liberalization. During the conversation, the visit of the President of Armenia to Serbia was also announced in early October.
