Minister Dacic in talks with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic has received today the non-resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Hani bin Abdullah al Mohammed Mominah, who is on a two-day visit to the Republic of Serbia.

The two collocutors noted that there was a mutual interest in improving bilateral relations and cooperation and that political dialogue between the two countries needed to be intensified. They also discussed possibilities for enhancing economic cooperation. Minister Dacic pointed out that Serbia, wishing to develop relations with Saudi Arabia, opened its Embassy in Riyadh and expressed expectation that Saudi Arabia would soon establish its representation in Belgrade.

Ambassador Mominah thanked for the reception and conveyed the greetings from Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Ibrahim Al-Assaf to Minister Dacic. He expressed his country's readiness to cooperate with Serbia in all fields, especially in the fields of agriculture, tourism, youth and sports.

During the talks, Ambassador Mominah underlined that he hoped that high and top -level visits would be realized in the upcoming period and that agreements on cooperation in areas of mutual interest would be signed between the two countries.
