Serbia’s satisfaction with the decision of Georgia to open diplomatic office in Belgrade

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic has met today with the Charge d' Affaires of the Embassy of Georgia (seated in Athens), Diplomatic Office in Belgrade , Ilia Koberidze.

Minister Dacic expressed his satisfaction with Georgia's decision to open a diplomatic office in Belgrade and voiced confidence that it would contribute towards the further development of bilateral relations.

In an open and cordial talks, the two collocutors noted that there were traditionally good and friendly ties between the two countries. The current issues related to bilateral cooperation were discussed and commitment to intensify relations in all areas of common interest was highlighted.

Minister Dacic thanked for the principled position of Georgia on non-recognition of the so-called Kosovo as well as for the support to the preservation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.
