The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia held political consultations at the Serbian MFA, on 31 May 2019.

The consultations were led by State Secretary at the Serbian MFA Nemanja Stevanovic and Armenian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Avet Adonts.
The talks centered on bilateral relations in the context of the approaching visit to Serbia by Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, to take place in the autumn of 2019. Moreover, the talks included cooperation between Serbia and Armenia in international organizations, situation in Kosovo and Metohija, regional issues and other important international topics.

The consultations noted that the relations were developing on a good and constructive basis. Both sides expressed their readiness to further strengthen and intensify bilateral dialogue on a number of issues of mutual interest.
