4ids22519First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic was today on a visit to the Federal Republic of Somalia.

In Mogadishu, the Serbian Foreign Minister had talks with President of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo, as well as with the Somali Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

In the talks, both sides expressed readiness to restore the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries dating as far back as the close cooperation within the Non-Aligned Movement.

The President of Somalia underlined that his country did not support separatism and unilateral moves undermining international law and the international order.

He stressed that Somalia would reconsider and revoke all the decisions made by the transitional government in 2010 that were illegitimate, including the decision to recognize the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo.
