Serbia and Georgia tied by traditional bonds of friendship

pvg2404219On his bilateral visit to Georgia, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met with Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze.
In the friendly talks, the collocutors stressed the high convergence of views between the two countries on the crucial political and economic development paths.

They also exchanged views and positions on the fundamental principles of international law, respect for territorial integrity, but also on economic reforms being implemented with success in either country: namely, digitalization, modernization of public administration, development of infrastructure and communications, and also progress in the development of an entrepreneurship-friendly environment.

Minister Dacic and the Georgian Prime Minister underscored the traditional and friendly ties existing between the two peoples as well as the necessity to promote them further and open new cooperation avenues, primarily in the economic sphere.

Minister Dacic invited the Prime Minister of Georgia to visit the Republic of Serbia at the earliest convenience.
