1idrrmj30419 resultFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic participated today, as the guest of honour, in an informal working lunch with a group of Ambassadors of the Asian and Pacific region in Belgrade, hosted by Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Myo Aye.



In his conversation with Ambassadors, Minister Dacic underlined that Serbia devoted special attention to the solidification of ties and the development of cooperation with the countries of the Asian and Pacific region, expressing his pleasure that its relationship with the region had of late been upgraded.

In this context, the Minister assessed that the political dialogue between Serbia and countries of the Asian and Pacific region had been intensified, that the economic cooperation had developed successfully and that new opportunities for the promotion of cooperation had been created in other areas as well. He conveyed the readiness and openness of the Republic of Serbia, and his own readiness, to work more intensively towards strengthening cooperation and friendship with the countries of the Asian and Pacific region.

Ambassadors of the Asian and Pacific Group of countries to Serbia thanked Minister Dacic for the honour given to them and reaffirmed their willingness to continue to reinforce bilateral cooperation of their countries with Serbia.
