First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with Ivan Karadzic, an international rescue team diver who participated in the mission to save the Thai junior soccer team and their coach who were trapped in Tham Luang cave.

Minister Dacic said that he was very pleased to meet Ivan Karadzic and expressed full respect for his vocation and accomplishment in Thailand in particular.

Mr. Ivan Karadzic stressed that the operation to rescue the Thai boys from Tham Luang cave had been a highly dangerous one, but that assistance came from all corners of the world and that he was very happy that all ended well.

Minister Dacic, on this occasion, wished Ivan Karadzic to spend more time in Serbia, and for them to meet more often in our country.
