Bilateral political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia at the level of State Secretaries, were held on 9 April 2019 in Ljubljana.

The delegation of the Serbian Foreign Ministry was headed by State Secretary Nemanja Stevanovic while his Slovenian counterpart Simona Leskovar headed the Slovenian Foreign Ministry's delegation.

The talks, conducted in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, dealt with many bilateral issues with special emphasis on the promotion of cooperation between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs, deepening of economic ties, Serbia's EU integration, succession issues, situation in the region as well as on other topics of mutual concern.

During his visit to the Republic of Slovenia, State Secretary Stevanovic paid a courtesy call on the Slovenian Foreign Minister.
