Minister Dacic receives Japanese PM’s Special National Security Adviser

spec. sav._PV_JapanaFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today Special National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan, Kentaro Sonoura.

In a cordial conversation the two collocutors noted that the relations between the two countries were on the ascendant line while mutual contacts were substantial, multi-layered and intensified. Joint commitment to further strengthening of political dialogue, exchange of visits on all levels and further connections between the economies of the two countries was reasserted.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the results achieved and the level of cooperation. It was estimated that the historic visit by the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, to the Republic of Serbia, in January 2018, gave a new strong encouragement to the further improvement of comprehensive cooperation.

Opinions on the most important regional and global issues were exchanged and readiness to continue an intensified dialogue and cooperation in international forums was expressed at the meeting.
