Minister Dacic had talks with Foreign Minister of Nicaragua

mip NikaragveFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua Denis Ronaldo Moncada Colindres in the margins of the VIII meeting of Heads of State or Government of the member states of the Associations of Caribbean States which took place in Managua, the capital of Nicaragua.

In a friendly and thorough discussion, both Ministers underlined the friendly ties existing between the two countries and peoples, based on respect for the principle of non-interference in internal affairs of sovereign states and on compliance with international law and principle of territorial integrity.

Ministers also agreed that notable cooperation existed between Serbia and Nicaragua in international organizations. They stressed that one proof of good ties and excellent cooperation between Serbia and Nicaragua was reflected in the 40th anniversary of successful and friendly diplomatic relations. The two Foreign Ministers signed an Agreement on the abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic and official passports. They also agreed to sign an Agreement to abolish visa requirements for all passport holders.

Minister Dacic invited his Nicaraguan counterpart to visit Serbia during the course of this year.
