Minister Dacic confers with Argentinian Deputy Foreign Minister

ZMIP ArgentineFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic had talks, on the fringes of the High-Level UN Conference on South-South Cooperation, held in Buenos Aires, with Argentinian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship Gustavo Slauvinen.

The two collocutors discussed bilateral relations and multilateral cooperation and noted that the political relations between the two countries were on the continued ascending line.

Minister Dacic underlined that, in addition to excellent political relations, more efforts should be made to promote economic cooperation. Both sides exchanged information on export capacities of the two countries and elaborated on concrete projects and the upcoming visit by Argentinian businessmen to Serbia.

The Argentinian Deputy Minister offered exchange of experience in the areas of food safety as well as agriculture technology transfer.

Minister Dacic expressed his gratitude for the support to the positions of Serbia by Argentinian representatives in international organizations, highlighting the significance of consistent respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of both Serbia and the Argentine.

Deputy Minister Slauvinen underscored that Argentina would not change its position on non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo.
Both sides also agreed to continue cooperation in all multilateral forums.
