On 14 December 2018, the Republic of Serbia participated in the 39th Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).

The Serbian delegation, led by Mr Aleksandar Tasic, Head of the Multilateral Economic Cooperation Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussed together with the 11 other Member States a number of issues of importance for the further promotion of cooperation in the wider Black Sea region, and also the optimization of the activity of the Organization.

By participating in the event, the Republic of Serbia showed its commitment to the development of regional cooperation, particularly in the economy.
