First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic, who is on a two-day visit to Sri Lanka, met with Minister of Transport Nimal Siripala de Silva.

The two collocutors underlined that the relations between the two countries were traditionally good and expressed readiness to promote cooperation in the areas of mutual interest, particularly in the economic field.

Following the meeting, head of the Serbian diplomacy and Minister of Transport of Sri Lanka Nimal Siripala de Silva signed an Agreement on Air Transport between the Republic of Serbia and Sri Lanka.

Both sides expressed satisfaction at the signing of the Agreement and emphasized that the same will significantly contribute to better connectivity between the two countries and peoples.
