Ambassador Filipovic participated with representatives of NATO and civil society in a meeting on public diplomacy

filipovic-natoActing Assistant Minister for Security Policy Ambassador Branimir Filipovic participated with representatives of NATO, the Alliance's Member States and those of civil society in a meeting held at Metropol Palace Hotel in Belgrade, focusing on public diplomacy and presenting the results of NATO-Serbia cooperation carried out through Partnership for Peace.

The meeting was co-hosted by the NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade and the Greek Embassy, in its capacity as the NATO Contact Point Embassy in Serbia.

In addition to Ambassador Filipovic, speakers in the opening segment of the event included Chief of the NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade, Brigadier General Cesare Marinelli, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic, Elias Eliadis, and Senior Officer for Russia and the Western Balkans in NATO Public Diplomacy Division, Robert Pszczel, who participated via video link.

During the event, views were exchanged on suggestions for further steps to be taken in the field of public diplomacy, with the aim of providing quality information to the Serbian public, in a timely manner, about the content and results of Serbia-NATO cooperation carried out through dialogue at various levels as well as the forms of practical cooperation being realized within the Partnership for Peace programme.
