On 7 December, Minister of Culture and Sports of Qatar Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali received Serbian Ambassador Jasminko Pozderac. The Ambassador discussed with Qatari Minister the bilateral relations between Serbia and Qatar, particularly in the fields of culture and sports, and the holding of 2021 World Boxing Championships as well as 2022 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade.

The collocutors assessed that there are ample opportunities for deepening the culture and sports cooperation in the post-covid period, while Minister Salah Al Ali expressed a wish to pay a visit to Serbia next year.
