altAmbassador Dragan Zupanjevac gave an interview to Kenya's The Star daily newspaper. Discussing various topics ranging from the breakup of Yugoslavia, the issue of Kosovo and Metohija and sports, Ambassador elaborated on the depth of ties between Kenya and Serbia which established diplomatic relations 57 years ago.
 
"Serbia was the only former Yugoslav republic which, following the breakup, maintained its diplomatic missions in 12 African states. The number 8 on our diplomatic car license plate represented that Serbia was the 8th country to recognize the independence of Kenya and that made me proud", Ambassador Zupanjevac stressed.
