Tel Aviv: Aleksandar Nikolic becomes Honorary Consul in Beersheba

altAleksandar Nikolic was appointed Honorary Consul of Serbia in Beersheba at the formal ceremony of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
 
The formal ceremony was attended by Leader of Israel Our Home Party and Former Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, Knesset MP Gary Koren, Director of the Balkan Region at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dan Oryan, Dean of the Honorary Consular Corps Gad Propper, Honorary Consul of Serbia in Jerusalem Boris Krasny and others.
 
In his remarks, Aleksandar Nikolic expressed gratitude for the vote of confidence in him and underscored that it was a great honor to be appointed Honorary Consul of Serbia in Israel. He promised to do everything in his power to ensure that the existing good relations are further enhanced and announced that the very first activities in the field of cultural cooperation are already in the pipeline.
 
Ambassador Milutin Stanojevic emphasized that the conditions for bilateral and above all economic cooperation would be further improved owing to the new Honorary Consulate in Beersheba – the economic, infrastructural, industrial and university center of southern Israel.
