Dusseldorf: Serbia on Trade Representatives Day

altThe International Trade Representatives Day was held at the Düsseldorf Chamber of Commerce on December 2nd. Consulates, chambers of commerce, investment agencies, as well as investment and trade sections of embassies from 21 countries were represented at the fair's stands.
 
At the stand of Serbia, the Consulate General in Düsseldorf presented the economic, tourism and investment potential of Serbia, with special emphasis on the successful business operations of foreign companies already present in Serbia, as well as domestic companies in the field of automotive industry, agriculture and food production, ICT sectors, as well as the textile and wood processing industries.
 
Vice-Consul Filip Pavlovic presented the favorable investment environment that Serbia offers, starting from skilled labor, through low operating costs, to investor incentives, optimal geographic locations and proximity to leading export markets. It is particularly emphasized that, thanks to free trade agreements and preferential treatment, the door to duty-free exports to foreign markets, numbering about 1.3 billion consumers, has been opened to investors in Serbia.
