The leading economic daily newspaper "Economic Times" published an article on Serbia headlined "From business to movies: Serbia emerges as a gateway to Central and Southern Europe". It is said that our country amazes Indian movie directors and producers and that 10 Indian movies have been shot in Serbia in the last 4 years, as well as that the visa free regime significantly encourages travel of businessmen and tourists.

 

The article cited Serbian Ambassador Vladimir Maric as saying that political cooperation between the two countries has been on the rise and stressed the importance of the recent visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar to Serbia after 30 years.
