The Days of Serbian Film festival was held at the K-13 cinema, in Helsinki, from 25 to 27 October. This cultural event has been organized for the ninth year in a row, hosted by the Serbian-Finnish Society as the promoter of a project co-funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and supported by the Film Center of Serbia, the Municipality of Helsinki and the Embassy of Serbia to Finland.

This year's feature films include "Taxi Blues" by Miroslav Stamatov, "The South Wind" by Milos Avramovic and "The Load" by Ognjen Glavonic. For the first time, a children's film was screened at this festival: "The Witch Hunters" by director Rasko Miljkovic, as well as a documentary film "Occupied Cinema" by Senka Domanovic. This year, the Film Center of Serbia made a selection of films, according to the existing capacities, while the guest of the Festival was Director Miroslav Stamatov, whose comedy "Taxi Blues", shown at the opening of the Festival, was watched by around 120 spectators.

Serbian-Finnish Society President Vladan Jovanovic and Serbian Ambassador Sasa Obradovic made the opening remarks at the Festival. In his remarks, Ambassador Obradovic stressed the importance of preserving this already traditional film event as a guarantee of our art's presence on the Finnish cultural scene. The Ambassador also pointed out that the series of events had taken place in 2019 to commemorate 90 years since the establishment of the bilateral relations between Serbia and Finland, and he invited the audience to dedicate together this film festival also to this important anniversary.
