Rome: Presentation of Cinematographic Potential of Serbia

altThe Serbian Embassy in Rome took part at a press conference held by the Rome Lazio Film Commission at the Parco della Musica Auditorium, on 19 October, where the International Film Festival of Rome takes place from 17 to 27 October.

Minister Counsellor of the Serbian Embassy Tatjana Garcevic presented the incentives of the Serbian Government to produce audio-visual works. Participants were addressed via video link by Milos Pavlovic, Dean of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, whose students have been involved in the MASTER CLASS program at the initiative of the Embassy since last year, along with students of the famous Sapienza University.

Artistic Director of the Film Festival Gabriella Carlucci spoke about the recent exclusive guest appearance of the latest Italian film productions in Belgrade and about an organized visit of Italian film producers to Serbia in order to get acquainted with opportunities existing in Serbia to make movies and TV programs.

The Conference was also attended by Marcelo Foti and Adriano DeSantis, Director and Dean of the Film School Centro Sperimentale in Rome, Mariella Troccoli of the Ministry of Protection of Cultural Heritage and Activities of Italy, Luciano Sovena, President of the Lazio Rome Film Commission, Enrico Bufalini, Director of the Historical Archive of Luce, Andrea Minuz, Master Class Manager at the Department of Art History and Performing Arts, University of Rome "La Sapienza", Pilar Villanueva Romero, Counsellor of the Embassy of Spain.
