On 17 October, Ambassador Aleksic held a lecture to students of the International University within the 10th Festival of Diplomacy, traditionally held in Rome. This is the third year in a row that the Embassy takes part in the Festival of Diplomacy. NOVA Agency published an article on Ambassador Aleksic's lecture.

Students learned about the current developments and Serbia's top foreign policy priorities with special emphasis on its EU integration process. The Ambassador highlighted a highly favorable investment climate as recognized by many foreign investors, including a significant number of Italian companies. He noted in particular the traditionally close and friendly relations between Serbia and Italy which would mark two important anniversaries this year – 140 years of diplomatic relations and 10 years of the strategic partnership.



The lecture was followed by an interactive discussion with students. Ambassador Aleksic presented Serbia's tourist attractions and also spoke about outstanding Serbs in the fields of science, art, literature and sports, recognized for their achievements in Italy and the world at large.
